Privacy Policy
Effective date: 15 October 2026
This policy explains what the QueryUnstuck Publisher app ("the app") does with data. The app is an internal publishing tool operated by the creator of QueryUnstuck. It is used only with QueryUnstuck's own Instagram account and YouTube channel.
What the app does
- Uploads QueryUnstuck's own videos, titles, descriptions and thumbnails to QueryUnstuck's YouTube channel and Instagram account.
- Reads performance metrics (for example views, likes and watch time) for QueryUnstuck's own posts, to decide what to make next.
The app does not sign in other people, and it does not access, collect or store data about any other user, viewer or account.
Data the app uses
- Access tokens issued by Google and Meta when the QueryUnstuck account owner authorizes the app. They are stored as encrypted GitHub Actions secrets and in a local configuration file on the owner's computer, and are used only to perform the actions above.
- Aggregate post metrics for QueryUnstuck's own posts. They may be stored in the QueryUnstuck project repository and used to plan future content.
We do not sell, rent or share this data, and we do not use it for advertising.
YouTube API Services
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using the app you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. See also the Google Privacy Policy.
The app's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Instagram (Meta)
The app uses the Instagram API to publish to and read insights for QueryUnstuck's own Instagram professional account. See the Instagram Privacy Policy.
Retention and deletion
Tokens are kept only while the app is in use and are deleted when no longer needed. You can revoke the app's access to a Google account at any time from the Google security settings page, and to an Instagram account under Settings → Apps and websites in Instagram. Revoking access makes the stored tokens stop working immediately.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
